Certains d\u2019entre vous ont surement d\u00fb remarquer mon exasp\u00e9ration<\/a> devant l’avalanche de tweets paper.li et la solution drastique mise en place. En gros, tu publies un paper.li => je t’unfollow direct. J\u2019en ai marre de voir passer tous les jours les m\u00eames tweets que je ne lis jamais. Mais pourquoi tant de haine?<\/p>\n

Paper.li ne sert \u00e0 rien<\/h2>\n

J\u2019exag\u00e8re volontairement. Mais franchement, ce service vous est-il utile? Y a-t-il quelqu\u2019un qui lit ces messages? Le but n\u2019est-il pas finalement seulement d\u2019alimenter un compte \u00e0 moindre frais? De gagner des followers en les mentionnant?<\/p>\n

Personnellement, je ne lis jamais de paper.li, je trouve que le contenu n\u2019est pas suffisamment \u00ab cur\u00e9 \u00bb (oui, curation en fran\u00e7ais, c\u2019est la loose!). On trouve de tout et de rien dans un d\u00e9sordre. Et le layout n\u2019est pas sp\u00e9cialement ergonomique. En r\u00e9sum\u00e9, je pr\u00e9f\u00e8re ma bonne vielle timeline.<\/p>\n

Paper.li n’est pas un journal, c’est simplement un agr\u00e9gat de tweets automatis\u00e9s. Il n’y a aucun travail journalistique derri\u00e8re.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Et je ne suis pas le seul \u00e0 ne pas \u00ab\u00a0aimer\u00a0\u00bb ce service, Prenons Robert Scoble par exemple:<\/p>\n

Alors, sous pr\u00e9texte que l’entreprise Paper.li est suisse, qu’elle a gagn\u00e9 l’award de viralit\u00e9 (bien m\u00e9rit\u00e9 en passant) durant l’\u00e9v\u00e9nement Web 2.0 \u00e0 Paris, cela n\u2019en fait pas un service utile.<\/p>\n

Une solution radicale<\/h2>\n

Le seul moyen pour moi de ne plus voir passer ces tweets reste de ne plus en suivre les auteurs. Certes, c\u2019est radical, et dommage car certains de leurs contenus \u00e9taient fort int\u00e9ressant. Mais je ne vois aucune autre solution.<\/p>\n

Et m\u00eame avec cette solution, je ne peux \u00e9viter que les paper.li polluent dans ma timeline Linkedin. J\u2019h\u00e9site d\u2019ailleurs \u00e0 \u00abd\u00e9-connecter\u00bb ces personnes. Mais la d\u00e9marche est plus rude sur Linkedin. (Note: pourquoi unfollow et d\u00e9connecter n’as pas la m\u00eame valeur? Une id\u00e9e?)<\/p>\n

J\u2019ai un avis bien tremp\u00e9 sur ce service. Mais peut-\u00eatre que vous avez une autre opinion. Vous sert-il a quelque chose ? Lisez-vous r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement son contenu? Je suis curieux. Convainquez-moi.<\/p>\n

Note : Ce matin, j\u2019ai appris par @jdevoo<\/a> qu\u2019il \u00e9tait possible de ne plus appara\u00eetre dans les mentions paper.li. Un bon d\u00e9but.
