[en] There are a lot of small things which make life more worth living it. Bellow I’ve listed a few of them. Sure, it’s way easier to list those which annoy us. But let’s take the life on the bright side here. Yeah! Feel free to sure your « life en-lighters » with us here.

On a tous nos petits trucs qu’on aime bien.

Je ne suis PAS écolo / I’m NOT green

Today is Blog Action Day, this means bloggers around the world will post on one unique topic: Sustainable Development. Here’s my contribution to this event.

[EN] Generally I like to let people I’m some sort of eco-geek. But that’s totally untrue, the numbers are against me. I’m made the calculation on this website (personal carbon emission calculator). The result? I did generate almost 16 tons of Co2 in the last 365 years. The major source of carbon dioxide are my airplane travel. So I decided to become « sustainable ». I choose the easy and fast way: I’m going to give up planes for the next 365 days. This will be tough be it has to be like this.

[EN] Hello all, as you can see I’ve updated the whole design of the website. I wanted to keep the same basis while improving it a little bit. The main change was the font switch. I hesitated for a long time, but finally decided to switch to Arial for the main text (but I still love you Georgia). I’d be happy to hear your comments regarding this new design. And yeah, I’ve finally decided to show you my face. Thanks a lot to Nancy who shot this cool pix and to Thomas who helped us.

Brasileiros – Smiling portraits

September 14th, 2009

Layse

This is the monday “arty” post! During my stay in Brazil in 2005, I got the opportunity to shoot the portrait of almost everyone I was somehow connected with. I used an old Minolta camera, the settings were not perfect, so I had to change the luminosity quite a lot afterwards. But the most important is here: the smiles!

Real life portraits – Found Photos

Woman Teeth

[eng] Found Photos is a website where it’s author is gathering lost pictures. Photos the photographer wouldn’t really be proud of. But they have a sense of authenticity, it’s raw material. No Photoshop, no makeup, this is real life!
