Ah ha, I’m 100% sure never heard about this league! I stumbled upon this on Flickr while looking for some nice pictures for my blog. What is it? Stuffists (that’s how they called themselves) try to get as many objects as they can in one matchbox. Nothing useful here, no real challenge, just a bunch of people having fun. I like the idea, and I might end up entering this championship on day. I’ll let you enjoy selection of artifacts!

À force d’aller « espionner » les sites des entreprises de communication visuelle romande, je me suis dit qu’il faudrait en faire un classement. Alors le voici, il est bien sûr totalement subjectif et reflète que mon point de vue personnel. Mon premier critère a été l’aspect esthétique, en gros est-ce que je le trouve beau. Après, les critères d’ergonomie et contenu entraient aussi en jeu.

Les cordonniers étant souvent les plus mal chaussés, j’ai vu beaucoup d’agence produire du contenu très beau, mais avoir un site…euh.. comment dire? « Pas représentatif » de leur savoir-faire

This is the monday “arty” post! During my stay in Brazil in 2005, I got the opportunity to shoot the portrait of almost everyone I was somehow connected with. I used an old Minolta camera, the settings were not perfect, so I had to change the luminosity quite a lot afterwards. But the most important is here: the smiles!

[eng] Found Photos is a website where it’s author is gathering lost pictures. Photos the photographer wouldn’t really be proud of. But they have a sense of authenticity, it’s raw material. No Photoshop, no makeup, this is real life!

[fr] Un petit poste très illustré pour vous parler du site Found Photos. En gros, il référence des images trouvées sur internet. Des photos que ses propriétaires ont « perdu ». La photo moche de Anita avant le maquillage, la fin de soirée entre potes floues avec une ligne d’horizon pas vraiment à niveau… On retrouve une l’authenticité certaine dans ces images: pas de photoshop, pas de maquillage, que du brut.

C’mon! I couldn’t resist to show you once more Michel’s work. I already did it on my old blog, but his pieces of art are just crazy. It can be disturbing with all these drugs, sex and choped up arms’n'heads’n'legs. But then, you see the jokes about “les vaudois”, the funny cartoon characters and you understand that this guy isn’t as F*** up as his painting.

During the last edition of the “Festival de la terre” (Earth festival) in Lausanne we made some movie. Togheter with Patricia, Aurélie, Thomas and Valère we shot a bunch of short film for the festival’s website. We were really short on preparation but the result is here.
